It's been a long time since I updated here!
The main progress I have to report is guitar related. I feel like I'm "getting there"... which is pretty vague. The difficulty is, progress for me is so slow that I don't really tend to notice it.
Anyway occasionally I do notice something, and that's what I can report: my little finger (on my left hand) is now under my control.
To those of you who don't play guitar that might sound a bit silly, but my little finger has been surprisingly resilient to my willing it to do certain things. Such as play scales.
Anyway, I've managed to tame it, which means playing scales (and other things) is much easier.
OK, it's not much, but it is at least progress and I feel like I'm getting there!

My guitar update is that I can now play songs with power chords properly. I'd never bothered to learn them before but it's actually pretty easy. Still need a bit more practice but it's not bad.
Been having lots of fun trying to play along to some rock / heavy rock kind of songs

Just realised it's been ages since I updated. Still making progress, slowly.
Tried to do some recording last night and it came out a bit out of tune, will work on that tonight and hopefully that will come out better.
Also, beginning to change on #2 (moaning less): A12 was pretty bad last night and started to get annoyed, but then said to myself "what's the point of being annoyed?" and calmed down again. Getting there...

Am finding it difficult to keep practicing things slowly and methodically. My attention span is too short! Have started learning a couple of other solos though which is good. 'Livin on a Prayer', what a classic

Phill Updating to say that I have not in fact forgotten the TYSIC, still practising but progress is slow! Not exactly progress but now have a strap lock which should prevent embarrassing strap falling off incidents.

Guitar practice is going OK. Trying to learn the notes on the neck, which is about as interesting as it sounds (not very).
Also feels like I'm making progress with Stairway which is good, playing things through slowly seems to be actually working.
